besides Logic.who knows.I have LP7 but have not got into WB yet. and they felt that ideal was to do your editing inside logic then bounce your edited file and import or drag into Waveburner.for Red book CD.as well as Mastering.this is how it worked most effectively in OS9.as it was and continues to be a standalone app.,I guess if you were using a DAW that hd no or poor audio editing features then you probably would need some kind of stand alone editor like Peak or DSP Quattro.At least for me I could do my editing in Logic.so to have the same features in waveburner would be a bit redundant.but I do see the problemm if your DAW doesn't have an audio editor inside.as to whether Apple intends to make it Standalone for other apps. With the Batch Video Processor feature.I went to the osxaudio forum and indeed it was as you reported.I have Waveburner Pro Os9.if I recllect someone may have suggested that within the framework of logic are various audio editing tools.
